Key activities / Job Description:

Position Summary:

  • Developing and maintaining web applications using PHP and related technologies.
  • Working on end-to-end projects, from front-end to back-end.
  • Taking over and maintaining existing code, ensuring its quality and performance.
  • Take over and develop old applications to modernize them using current technologies.
  • Design and implement efficient database architectures.
  • Work with the team to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Testing and debugging applications to ensure optimum performance.
  • Write clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Follow best development practices and industry standards.

Key information :

  • Freelance position
  • Employment rate between 60% and 100%
  • Half year contract extendable to 1 year
  • Persons based in Switzerland
  • Possible location : Gland (VD), Wallisellen (ZH)
  • Flexible working arrangements

Qualifications:

  • Computer Science CFC and/or ETS diploma and/or bachelor’s degree in computer science / development
  • Strong knowledge in PHP (Laravel)
  • Good knowledge with code versioning tools (Git/Gitlab).
  • Good knowledge of the application lifecycle and CI/CD practices.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, DB2, Oracle) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks such as Vue.js, React or Angular) is a plus.

Languages:

  • Fluent spoken and written French
  • Good level of spoken and written English (minimum B2)
  • German is a plus.
