Junior Commodity Derivative Trader

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the senior traders in managing exotic option market risk by executing swaps, futures, and options hedges
  • Work closely with the Sales team give market quotes and fill customer orders
  • Monitor the market and maintain an appropriate market risk exposure across the trading books
  • Support all administrative tasks related to our trading business including settling expired trades, reconciling the position, generating and analyzing 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • University degree in finance, math, computer sciences or software engineering
  • Strong interest in financial markets / futures market
  • Fluent in English and French. Spanish is a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and operate independently to solve problems as they arise
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to fit in with our team
  • Strong mathematics and excellent excel skills.
  • A basic understanding of financial derivatives or option valuation is a plus
