JOB DESCRIPTION Finance Close Management & Operations Contract duration: 12 months plus possible extensions We are seeking an experienced Financial Close Manager to lead and coordinate the full financial close cycle across a complex, multi-entity environment. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will own the close process end-to-end , ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance while driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Plan & Coordinate Develop and maintain a detailed financial close calendar across Finance, IT, and operations. Manage dependencies and update plans based on system and process changes. Lead readiness reviews and communicate plans clearly to stakeholders. Lead Execution: Act as the operational lead during close windows, tracking progress and resolving issues. Run daily coordination calls during key phases and escalate risks proactively. Ensure robust governance and compliance throughout the process. Drive Improvement: Conduct post-close reviews to identify bottlenecks and implement enhancements. Collaborate with Finance, IT, and transformation teams to optimize processes and tools. Engage Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with senior leaders across Finance, Technology, and Actuarial teams. Provide clear, concise updates on status, risks, and actions. Skills Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong project/program management skills with a disciplined approach to governance. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and process improvement initiatives. Fluent in English Proven experience managing financial close processes in complex, multi-entity environments (preferably in financial institutions).
