Role Description:

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional projects from conception to completion, ensuring that objectives are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strategic oversight, hands-on leadership, and strong coordination skills to manage resources, mitigate risks, and drive successful outcomes. Acting as a key liaison between stakeholders, the Senior Project Manager ensures that all project activities align with organizational priorities and business objectives.

Key responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, defining milestones and deliverables, managing budgets and schedules, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders at all levels. The Senior Project Manager will identify potential risks, implement mitigation strategies, and monitor performance against key metrics to ensure quality and efficiency. They will also lead project meetings, prepare progress reports, and ensure that cross-departmental collaboration runs smoothly. Beyond execution, the Senior Project Manager contributes to continuous improvement by promoting best practices in project management methodologies and mentoring junior project managers or team members.

The ideal candidate is a results-oriented professional with excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. They possess the ability to navigate complex challenges, manage competing priorities, and foster collaboration in dynamic environments. The Senior Project Manager must demonstrate leadership, accountability, and the capacity to drive innovation while maintaining operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience managing complex projects, preferably in a cross-functional or international setting.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or Agile certification strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in project budgeting and resource planning.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a results-driven mindset.
