On Lead Technology Product Manager

Job Details As the Product Manager Tech for Planning, you will be at the heart of On’s operational engine. You will own the vision, strategy, and execution for the suite of technology products that power our global supply chain and business planning processes. This is a critical role that requires a unique blend of technical depth, business acumen, and product leadership. You will work side-by-side with external vendors and internal engineering and data science teams to drive our planning capabilities forward. This is not a project management role; you will be the product leader, responsible for defining the 'what' and 'why', and inspiring your partners to deliver transformative solutions.Your Mission • Define the Vision: Own and articulate a clear and compelling product vision and strategy for our next-generation planning platform. Drive the Roadmap: Develop and manage a prioritized product roadmap based on company strategy, user research, and data-driven insights.• Lead Vendor Partnerships: Lead and manage relationships with external technology vendors, driving their roadmaps and ensuring they deliver solutions that meet On’s high standards and strategic goals.• Think Beyond the System: Go beyond the confines of existing tools and processes to creatively solve deep-seated customer pain points, championing innovative solutions and new ways of working.• Collaborate Deeply: Partner with a diverse set of stakeholders, including supply chain experts, business planners, engineers, and data scientists, to understand complex problems and define elegant solutions.• Lead with Empathy: Become the voice of the user by conducting research, user interviews, and analysis to deeply understand their needs and pain points.• Deliver Impact: Shepherd products from initial concept through design, development, launch, and iteration, ensuring they deliver measurable value to the business and our users.• Communicate with Clarity: Articulate complex technical concepts and business requirements clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.Your Story • Product Management DNA: Proven experience as a Product Manager in a fast-paced, technical environment. You have a strong command of product management principles and have a track record of shipping successful products. You think in terms of outcomes, not just outputs.• Domain Expertise: Deep experience in supply chain, demand planning, or related business planning domains. You understand the complexities and nuances of global operations.• Vendor Management Expertise: Experience managing and influencing external software vendors and implementation partners to achieve strategic outcomes.• Technical Fluency: A background working directly with engineering and data science teams in a technical field. You are comfortable discussing system architecture, data models, and technical trade-offs.• Creative Problem-Solver: A demonstrated ability to think creatively and challenge the status quo to find the best solutions for users, not just the most convenient or obvious ones.• Exceptional Collaboration Skills: You excel at building relationships and influencing cross-functional teams without formal authority.• Strategic Mindset: You can balance long-term strategic thinking with short-term execution.• Bonus Points: Familiarity with existing planning solutions like Anaplan is a plus, but not a requirement.Meet The Team The Product Management Technology team is the digital backbone of On's product creation engine.
