Lead Technology Product Manager

We recently launched a new digital R&D knowledge and collaboration platform that created a single source of truth for our R&D teams. Now, we are looking for a visionary product leader to spearhead the next chapter.

As the Lead Product Manager, you will own the evolution of this critical knowledge and collaboration platform. Your mission is to scale its success beyond footwear, integrating our Apparel, Accessories, and advanced Innovation pipelines. You will transform the platform from a central source of information into a dynamic, interactive workspace that covers the end-to-end product creation workflow. This is a unique opportunity to build the digital future of how On creates products and to make a lasting impact on our innovation engine.

• Evolve the Product Vision: Define and execute the product vision for the platform, creating a compelling roadmap to scale the platform into a comprehensive, multi-category R&D hub.
• Lead Strategic Expansion: Drive the strategic expansion of the platform beyond footwear to support the unique product creation workflows for Apparel, Accessories, and our advanced Innovation concepts.
• Deepen Workflow Integration: Evolve the platform's capabilities from a central source of information to a collaborative, interactive workspace, evaluating the potential to integrate more steps of the entire E2E product development journey directly into the platform.
• Drive Product Discovery: Lead continuous discovery to identify and validate opportunities for new features, workflow enhancements, and integrations that will empower our R&D teams.
• Lead a Cross-Functional Team: Guide and collaborate with a dedicated team of engineers, designers and data specialists to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions for our R&D users.
• Manage Stakeholder Alignment: Work closely with leaders and users across all R&D departments to ensure the platform's vision aligns with their strategic needs and solves their most pressing challenges.
• Measure and Iterate: Define and analyze metrics to track the platform's adoption, user satisfaction, and impact on business goals, using data to inform your priorities and strategy.

• An Experienced Platform PM: You have a proven track record of success in product management, with specific experience scaling complex, internal-facing collaboration or workflow platforms. This includes agile methodologies and the use of its tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
• A Strategic Thinker and Builder: You can not only create a compelling long-term vision but also translate it into a concrete, actionable roadmap and lead a team to execute on it.
• A Master Collaborator: You excel at building strong relationships and aligning a wide range of stakeholders, from senior leadership to individual users, around a common goal.
• Technically Fluent: You are comfortable diving into technical details with engineers and have a solid understanding of modern software development practices. Experience with scalable, service-oriented architectures is a strong plus.
• A Systems-Level Problem Solver: You have a passion for untangling complex workflows and designing elegant, scalable solutions that serve diverse user needs.
• Passionate about the User Journey: You are deeply empathetic to user needs and dedicated to creating tools that are not only powerful but also intuitive and a pleasure to use.
• Experience in R&D or Manufacturing is a plus: While not required, experience in an R&D, PLM, or manufacturing environment would be a strong asset.

The Product Management Technology team is the digital backbone of On's product creation engine. We are a team of strategic product leaders who partner with core business functions—from R&D and Design to Sourcing and Supply Chain—to build the platforms and systems that power On's growth.
