Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Engineering Manager to lead our team in the handling of work packages related to equipment engineering. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing engineering documentation for internal and external partners;
- Taking ownership of purchasing lots and engineering deliverables;
- Leading an engineering team with responsibility for the functionality of the work package scope;
- Negotiating with suppliers and monitoring progress;
- Achieving sub-project objectives in terms of time, quality, and financial aspects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A completed mechanical engineering degree (FH/ETH);
- 5+ years' experience in project management;
- Good mechanical & process knowledge and ideally professional experience in industrial plant construction;
- Very good MS Office application skills;
- Team collaboration and communication skills;
- Strong negotiation skills and resilience;
- Fluency in English, German, or other languages is an advantage.
