Lead Digital Ethics and Compliance at Takeda

About the Role:

Takeda is seeking a seasoned Digital Ethics and Compliance leader to spearhead our efforts in ensuring the integrity of our digital operations. As Head of Digital Ethics and Compliance, you will be responsible for developing and implementing best-in-class digital ethics and compliance standards, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation within our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight to our Digital Ethics and Compliance team, ensuring alignment with Takeda's high ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Culture of Excellence: Foster a culture of excellence within the team, promoting a proactive and inclusive approach to compliance and ethical decision-making.
  • Collaborative Compliance: Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure seamless integration of digital ethics and compliance practices across the organization.
  • Proactive Risk Management: Lead a forward-thinking approach to risk management, proactively assessing digital initiatives for potential risks and implementing effective mitigations.
  • Team Empowerment: Empower Digital Ethics and Compliance Officers to navigate the complexities of digital ethics and compliance with confidence, promoting a culture of continuous learning and capability enhancement.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: At least 6 years of post-qualification experience in a leadership role, with a strong background in performance management and strategic oversight.
  • Compliance Expertise: Proven expertise in data protection, privacy law, and AI regulations, with a strong understanding of global regulatory requirements.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards success.
  • Strategic Mindset: A strategic mindset, capable of seeing the bigger picture and driving change.
