HR Systems Support Specialist with SAP HR Experience

About the Role
As a seasoned IT professional, you will play a crucial part in supporting our global HR business payroll team based in Zürich. This role demands a unique blend of technical and business acumen to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Your expertise in the SAP HR module will be invaluable in ensuring seamless operation of our Swiss payroll application.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Coordinate monthly Swiss payroll closure procedures, guaranteeing timely and accurate results.
  • Prepare and execute year-end activities, adhering to established protocols.
  • Test software releases in a controlled environment and track progress via Jira.
  • Establish and operate batch processes utilizing Batchman.
  • Leverage your analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues within the application.
  • Develop workarounds where feasible and maintain application health through regular monitoring.
  • Investigate and analyze root causes of serious incidents, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Participate in internal and external audit assessments to ensure compliance.
  • Escalate critical incidents and problems to management while keeping end-users informed throughout the resolution process.

Requirements
We seek an individual with:
  • Previous production experience in IT or relevant education.
  • SAP system knowledge, including query skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Office tools, specifically Access, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong SQL skills are essential for this role.
  • Experience with batch scheduling is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English and German languages.
