About the Role


We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Performance Marketing Director to lead our Performance Marketing Unit in shaping the strategic direction of our agency. As a key member of our leadership team, you will collaborate with our Director of Performance Marketing to drive the growth and success of our service unit.


Your Responsibilities



  • Operate and manage the Performance Marketing Unit with a team of around 70 employees, driving business growth and success.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the unit, focusing on Performance Marketing, team management, and financial responsibility.
  • Lead cross-unit projects in interdisciplinary teams, ensuring effective collaboration and cross-functional communication.
  • Represent the unit and Performance Marketing externally at conferences and industry events.
  • Support team managers on people-related topics, development opportunities, and HR-related issues.

Requirements



  • 5+ years of experience in Performance Marketing, including tools like Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Google Analytics, and Meta.
  • Leadership experience, having led teams or managed large client projects in retail and e-commerce.
  • Familiarity with other Performance Marketing disciplines and confident in client interactions.
  • Act in an entrepreneurial manner, decisive, and able to comprehend complex situations.
  • Degree in marketing, business administration, or a similar field, and fluency in German and English.
