Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team at SICPA. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, as well as performing functional tests to verify conformity to specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conducting visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials and finished products
  • Performing functional tests to verify conformity to specifications
  • Documenting inspection results accurately and maintaining detailed records of quality inspections
  • Identifying and reporting non-conformities or deviations from quality standards
  • Collaborating with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Participating in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to improve product quality and processes
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and work instructions
  • Providing support during customer audits and inspections
  • Providing quality training
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in quality assurance is preferred
  • Proven experience as a quality inspector or similar role in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles, practices, and techniques
  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and specifications
  • Familiarity with measurement tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or discrepancies accurately
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Have a flexible mindset and can-do attitude
  • Be capable of working under tight time pressure
  • Practical knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
  • Driving license: Counterbalance forklift
  • Fluent in French and English
