Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Control Specialist to join our team at SICPA. In this exciting role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

About the Role:

As a Senior Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, as well as performing functional tests to verify conformity to specifications.

You will document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality inspections. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will enable you to identify and report any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards.

Collaboration with production teams is essential to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. You will participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to improve product quality and processes.

In addition, you will assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and work instructions. Providing support during customer audits and inspections as needed is also a key aspect of this role.

Your expertise in quality control principles, practices, and techniques will be invaluable in this position.

About the Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven experience as a quality inspector or similar role in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles, practices, and techniques
  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and specifications
  • Familiarity with measurement tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or discrepancies accurately
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Flexible mindset and can-do attitude
