Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team at Climeworks.

About the Role: As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating technical deliverables associated with civil, structural, and architectural workpackages. Your mission will be to ensure the successful execution of DAC Plants and drive collaboration within a cross-functional team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical deliverables, work packages, and activities for all aspects of engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning and start-up.
  • Ensure technical project interfaces are properly managed and that actions are tracked to full compliance and delivered as per requirements.
  • Prepare and present monthly project engineering reports.
  • Ensure appropriate technical scope, risk mitigation, cost estimate, cost, and schedule controls, and audits take place on a timely basis and findings are carried out.
  • Oversee the management of external clients' contractual relationships.
  • Collaborate with project groups in all project phases, design, risk assessment, execution plan incorporating full life cycle costs, and project scoping, feasibility studies, and relative economics analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 8 years of project engineering or management experience of civil, structural, and architectural workpackages in process industries and/or renewables industries' sectors.
  • Experience working in an EPC environment and relevant knowledge working in at least one process engineering industry (refining, chemical, petro-chemical facilities, and/or renewables industries).
  • Proven understanding of project management principles and best practices.
  • Experience working with projects groups in all project phases, design, risk assessment, execution plan incorporating full life cycle costs, and project scoping, feasibility studies, and relative economics analysis.
  • Experience in managing large-scale process industry projects > USD$300MM.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to create a positive culture and lead a cross-functional team of engineers.
  • Fluency in English; German is a plus.
