Senior Relations Specialist, Employers' Activities

The International Labour Organization (ILO) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Senior Relations Specialist, Employers' Activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing the ILO in its relations with employers' organizations, providing technical support on international labour standards and labour relations, and coordinating the work of the Employers' Group.
Key Responsibilities- Represent the ILO in its relations with employers' organizations, including the Employers' Group, and provide technical support on international labour standards and labour relations.
- Coordinate the work of the Employers' Group, including the preparation of policy documents, reports, and other materials.
- Provide advice to senior ILO officials on matters related to the Employers' Group and labour relations.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote the interests of employers' organizations and the ILO in the area of labour relations.
- Collaborate with other ILO departments and units to ensure effective implementation of labour standards and policies.
- Advanced degree in law, labour law, or a related field.
- Minimum of ten years of professional experience in labour law and relations, including experience in a senior-level position.
- Excellent command of one working language of the Organization (English, French, Spanish) and working knowledge of a second working language.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the ILO in a tripartite environment.
