Senior Relations Specialist, Employers' Activities

Job Summary
The International Labour Organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join its team as a Senior Relations Specialist, Employers' Activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing the Organization in its relations with employers' organizations, providing technical advice and guidance, and coordinating the development of policies and programs related to labour relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the Organization in its relations with employers' organizations, including the Employers' Group, and provide technical advice and guidance on labour relations and international labour standards.
- Coordinate the development of policies and programs related to labour relations, including the preparation of reports, documents, and other materials.
- Provide support to the Director of the Bureau for Employers' Activities in the implementation of the Organization's policies and programs related to labour relations.
- Collaborate with other units and departments within the Organization to ensure the effective implementation of labour relations policies and programs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in law, labour law, or a related field.
- Minimum of ten years of professional experience in labour law and labour relations, including experience in a senior-level position.
- Excellent command of one working language of the Organization (English, French, Spanish) and working knowledge of a second working language.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment and demonstrate gender-sensitive and non-discriminatory behaviour and attitudes.
Working Conditions
The successful candidate will be based in Geneva, Switzerland, and will be required to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The candidate will be expected to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally, and to work in a multicultural environment.
