Senior Relations Specialist, Employers' Activities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Relations Specialist to join our team at the International Labour Organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing the Organization in its relations with employers' organizations and promoting mutual understanding and cooperation.
Key Responsibilities- Represent the Organization in its relations with employers' organizations, including the Employers' Group, and promote mutual understanding and cooperation.
- Provide technical support and advice to senior officials on matters related to labour relations, international labour standards, and labour law.
- Coordinate the servicing of the Governing Body, the International Labour Conference, and other official meetings, and ensure that the discussion process is supported.
- Review major ILO reports and documents, provide comments and suggestions, and approve documents, communications, and press releases.
- Undertake missions to Member States to improve relations with relevant organizations and provide advice and information on the Organization's policies and activities.
- Advanced degree in law, labour law, or other relevant field.
- Minimum of ten years of professional experience, including at the international level, in labour law and dealing with the issues pertaining to relations, actions, and programmes of employers' organizations.
- Excellent command of one working language of the Organization (English, French, Spanish) and working knowledge of a second working language.
- In-depth knowledge of the work of the Organization, its policies, programmes, and procedures.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of employers' and labour-related programmes, issues, practices, and processes.
