Head of Reception Zurich: Luxury Service Leader

The Pictet Group, a leading independent wealth and asset manager, seeks an experienced Head of Reception for its Zurich office.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join the Client Experience department of the Real Estate & Logistics & Physical Security division and lead a team that provides top-tier service to international clients.

About the Role

As Head of Reception, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Reception area, creating a professional and welcoming environment for clients, Managing Partners, and senior management. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of five receptionists and a food and beverage coordinator, providing guidance, assigning training, and carrying out performance evaluations.
  • Overseeing the food and beverage service to our clients and business partners.
  • Coordinating and scheduling meeting requests and maintaining the highest level of service to clients.
  • Working with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication across the organisation.
  • Helping to organise events for clients.
  • Developing and implementing reception policies and procedures to continually enhance the service to clients.
  • Handling confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices with regard to reception management.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels. You should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role or in the luxury sector.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities with an eye for detail.
  • Problem-solving skills and an ability to handle challenging situations with calm and assurance.
  • A professional and polished demeanour, reflecting the image and values of the Group.
  • German mother tongue and fluent in English; knowledge of French would be an advantage.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong team player.
