About the Role

Oracle is undergoing a remarkable transformation in its Independent Software Vendor (ISV) license business, with double-digit growth year over year. We are seeking driven sales professionals to join our team and contribute to this growth engine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work a prime assigned territory that includes a wide range of ISVs, building and maintaining relationships to align their applications with Oracle technology and on-prem license plays.
  • Establish trusting relationships with key C-level stakeholders and create, drive, and own account plans for selected ISVs in collaboration with field and other teams.
  • Establish rules of engagement and operational escalation procedures to quickly identify and resolve issues.
  • Work closely with Oracle lines of business and function units to understand industry trends and position ISV-certified solutions.
  • Build, sell, and execute the sale of Oracle on-prem license products to ISVs, including negotiating price, concessions, and terms and conditions of the sale.
  • Participate in tracking and forecasting pipeline to meet territory sales targets.
  • Be well-versed in technical pitches and differentiators of Oracle technology products.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated track record of developing and managing global partnerships and driving partner account on-prem license sales activity.
  • Demonstrable track record of relevant achievement working at a high level of consultative sales within a matrix reporting structure, preferably in an embedded software business environment.
  • Clear understanding of the business and software opportunity presented by technology for major multinational enterprises.
  • Must have carried a direct sales quota and demonstrated on-target or better achievement.
  • Strong sales engagement experience in major opportunities.
  • Well-established business and general management disciplines.
  • Effective negotiator with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Participate and lead the tracking and forecasting of territory pipeline to meet sales targets.

  • Experienced, self-motivated, enthusiastic sales professionalism.
  • Excellent business development, planning, and execution skills.
  • Entrepreneurial creativity and flair with regards to joint working engagements.
  • Joint demand creation experience to create end-user go-to-market programs for the ISV application.
  • Ability to learn and add incremental value to an ISV's specific business model and USP.
  • Language skills: (Swiss)German and English.
