Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering domain, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust data pipelines to collect and process relevant data from internal and external sources.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and enable stakeholders to query and analyze data in a self-service manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data pipelines to collect and process data from various sources, including product databases, CRM systems, and web analytics.
  • Collaborate with product, operations, and sales & marketing teams to understand their data needs and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a data warehouse to store and manage data, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Enable stakeholders to query and analyze data using tools such as Google Sheets and Looker Studio.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging ML/AI technologies and conduct analysis to identify potential applications and use cases.
  • Develop proof of concepts to validate the feasibility of ML applications and collaborate with product engineering teams to move validated use cases to beta status.
  • Work with the systems and cloud engineering team to deploy and operate ML applications (MLOps).
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a passion for data engineering and machine learning. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data pipeline development.
  • Experience in monitoring and analyzing emerging ML/AI technologies.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala, Java, Kotlin).
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
  • Experience developing and deploying robust ML systems.
