Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Summary Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Summary Specialist, you will be responsible for summarizing complex medical documents, providing accurate and reliable information to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Summarize medical documents, including APS summaries, to provide accurate and reliable information to our clients.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory findings, pathology reports, and cardiac diagnostic studies, to identify medical impairments.
  • Provide high-level service, ensuring accuracy of at least 99% and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of client records.

Qualifications:

  • College or university graduate of any medical course.
  • Strong knowledge of medical conditions, diagnostics, treatments, terminology, and medications.
  • Clinical and medical background is a must.
  • Good understanding of medical terminologies, impairments, patterns, and risks.
  • Good understanding of non-medical information (lifestyle).
  • Ability to extract significant medical and non-medical information.
  • Analytical and critical thinking ability.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Ability to read difficult handwriting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely – both oral and written.
  • Willingness to work on Saturdays or Holidays whenever a business need calls for.
