About the Role:

As a Business Systems Analyst at Company 81 - Manulife Data Services Inc., you will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations of our business applications. This includes acting as the daily scrum master, providing level 2 support, and contributing to the development of new features and bug fixes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as daily scrum master to facilitate team collaboration and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide level 2 support to resolve technical issues and escalate complex problems to senior teams.
  • Contribute to the development of new features and bug fixes, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor batch cycle loads and ensure timely execution of daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to request, load, and proof data updates in production and lower environments.
  • Support and triage production incidents, working closely with senior teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Perform release management to ensure seamless deployment of new features and updates.
  • Contribute to scrum team to provide development support, including code improvements and bug fixing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least two years of Information Technology experience or application support experience.
  • Hybrid work arrangement with amenability to work onsite and from home, dependent on established RTO guidelines.
  • Amenability to work on assigned schedule, including PH Night Shift - Rotating.
  • Minimum skills to hire/must haves: prior experience or understanding of Cloud infrastructure, pipeline execution with DR management, experience in Agile, Azure, GitHub, SNOW, and JIRA, and Eastern Standard Time support.
