Regional Process Excellence and Innovation Director

As the Director of Process Excellence and Innovation, you will play a critical role in driving business process and continuous improvement initiatives across Supply Chain (Q2C). You will oversee the establishment and implementation of process improvements, champion automation and digitalization initiatives, and work with multiple cross-functional global and regional teams to enhance operational efficiency and quality within our air, ocean, and road freight teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce time, increase productivity, and enhance operations quality across teams.
  • Manage the technology innovation budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to support strategic initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to implement automation tools across businesses impacting the supply chain positively.
  • Take ownership of pilot projects from initial phase to launch, ensuring successful implementation and adoption.
  • Automate and optimize Control Tower teams, equipping them with digital and innovation-based tools for seamless operations execution and leadership visibility.
  • Define, audit, and implement global processes and standard KPIs/metrics, creating a common process of execution across teams and branches.
  • Work with data analytics and technical teams to build process excellence solutions.
  • Develop and document current and future state processes, along with business cases on impact for leadership and stakeholder visibility.
  • Identify and support the development of metrics/measurement tools according to customer requirements and DP World's capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business implementation, continuous improvement in the logistics industry.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, plan, assign, and control.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects.
  • Strong understanding of air and ocean freight operations and regulations.
  • Goal and team-driven, with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • 10+ years of experience in managing and delivering digital projects, driving technology-based innovation in large logistics or supply chain organizations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, blockchain, and data analytics.
  • Excellent command of English, with any additional European language an advantage.
