Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned International MSME Banking Expert to join our team at Business & Finance Consulting. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in middle-management banking and contribute to the success of our global clients.

About the Role

This position involves conducting diagnostic assessments of project partner financial institutions, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies for implementation. You will work closely with our clients to develop internal procedures and tools, and provide training and support to their teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel extensively and spend more than 50% of your time abroad, conducting on-site assessments and providing expert advice
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the lending business, including product development, credit analysis, and business process re-engineering
  • Collaborate with our clients to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and develop plans for implementation
  • Conduct effective training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills of our clients' teams
  • Write regular reports on project progress and impact, highlighting key findings and recommendations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of recent banking experience, including at least 3 years in a head office and 1 year in a middle management position
  • Strong experience with MSME segments, especially in the lending business
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Russian, with strong writing and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills, with experience using CRM and loan origination software
