Job Description
We are seeking a Director of Marketing & PR who will be responsible for curating forward-thinking marketing talent and capabilities, establishing a unique brand identity across all channels and geographies. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing a strategic vision to deliver growth and revenue, supporting the marketing team in executing data-driven campaigns that strengthen the brand worldwide.
- Identifying new growth opportunities and proactively addressing industry challenges.
- Championing a partnership mentality where the marketing team can act as effective consultants to partner properties and internal stakeholders.
- Serving as a trusted brand ambassador at industry events, and sharing thought leadership with media, clients, and partners.
- Working with the Communications Consultant and PR agencies to oversee PR initiatives and media relations, building high-impact relationships with key outlets and influencers.
- Ensuring all agency partners and suppliers are set to deliver maximum ROI through defined scopes of work.
- Leading a cross-functional team focused on best-in-class marketing, analytic, and technology, encouraging creativity, collaboration, and high performance.
- Fostering a team environment that champions growth, encouraging personal and career development while maintaining an internal and external talent pipeline.
- Guiding digital and content marketing strategies, ensuring consistency in storytelling and maximising impact across channels.
- Ensuring marketing team activity is aligned to specific performance objectives and measured for effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing and public relations, ideally in luxury, wellness, or hospitality sectors.
- Ability and experience in working in a small, fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and proficiency in brand storytelling.
- Proven experience in managing partnerships, agency relationships, and driving ROI.
- Strong analytical skills and a collaborative, innovative approach to team leadership.
- Business fluent in English, further language skills would be an advantage.
