Job Summary

The Yacht Club Director is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the exceptional management of all aspects of the guest experience, crew development, and financial performance in the Yacht Club, a unique and exclusive section of the ship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the guest experience, including embarkation, butler service, cabin, concierge, lounge, and Yacht Club restaurant operations.
  • Manage a team of up to 50 persons, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with department heads and shore-side departments to develop and implement high-quality services and products on board.
  • Ensure crew members are trained to deliver exceptional service standards.
  • Act as an ambassador for the Yacht Club brand, promoting its values and reputation.
  • Be present during key events, such as embarkation, high tea, cocktail receptions, and dinner service.
  • Ensure prompt and professional handling of guest feedback.

Requirements

  • Fluent English and a second European language or Chinese.
  • Diploma in International Hospitality Management.
  • Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in a luxury hotel or luxury cruise ship.
  • Proficiency in Fidelio, Excel, Word, and MS Outlook.
  • F&B and/or Front Office experience.
  • Excellent networking and communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Dedicated and devoted to providing luxury service.
  • Good business acumen.
