Senior Human Resources Business Partner and Country HR Manager for Switzerland

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner and Country HR Manager for Switzerland to strengthen our Swiss HR organization. As part of the Country Leadership team, the successful candidate will report directly to the Country Managing Director DACH.

Your Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Country Managing Director and other senior leaders to deliver an efficient overall HR service in Switzerland.
  • Ensure compliance with Swiss legislation and HR policies across the country and its branches.
  • Facilitate understanding of the HR Operating Model across HR and other functions.
  • Drive collaboration within the HR function, promoting a strong team spirit and engagement.
  • Partner with COEs and HRBPs to provide a country view and promote fair decision-making.
  • Ensure effective internal communication with all stakeholder groups.
  • Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a diverse and inclusive working environment.
  • Act as a Country Labor Relations Manager and negotiate compensation and benefits changes.
  • Represent Hitachi Energy in the local Swiss environment and manage partnerships.

Your Background

  • Several years of experience as a Senior HR Business Partner in Switzerland, Country HR Switzerland, or equivalent.
  • Excellent business understanding, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Deep knowledge of Swiss employment laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of Swiss HR policies, processes, and practices.
  • Strong business and labor market understanding.
  • Assertiveness, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Leadership without authority.
  • Credibility and recognition of ethical behavior.
  • Fluency in German and English, French and/or Italian beneficial.
