Senior HRBP and Country HR Manager Switzerland

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior HRBP and Country HR Manager for Switzerland to strengthen our Swiss HR organization. This role will be part of the Country Leadership team, reporting directly to the Country Managing Director DACH. Our flexible working practices enable employees to optimize their personal and business performance while creating an environment for growth and skill development.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Country Managing Director and senior leaders to facilitate efficient HR service delivery and compliant people practices in Switzerland.
- Safeguard compliance with the latest legislation requirements in Hitachi Energy regulations within the country and branches.
- Facilitate understanding of the HR Operating Model across HR and other functions.
- Drive collaboration within the HR Function, creating a strong team spirit and engagement.
- Partner with COEs and HRBPs, contributing a country view and promoting fair decision-making and considering overall impact in the country.
- Ensure effective internal communication with all stakeholder-groups, seeking opportunities for simplification and harmonization within the country.
- Drive our diversity 360 strategy and ensure a diverse and inclusive working environment.
- Act as a Country Labor Relations Manager, ensuring strong labor and key stakeholder relations internally and externally, negotiating and agreeing on statutory types of compensation and benefits-related changes.
- Represent Hitachi Energy in the local Swiss environment, actively managing partnerships.
Requirements
- Several years as a Senior HR Business Partner supporting teams in Switzerland, Country HR Switzerland, or equivalent experience ideally within a fast-paced global organization.
- Excellent business understanding, negotiation, and influencing skills, as well as change management.
- Deep knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations in Switzerland.
- Knowledge and expertise related to Swiss HR policies, processes, and practices of Compensation and Benefits, Recruitment and Onboarding, Performance Management, and Global Mobility.
- Strong business/labor market understanding.
- Assertiveness, interpersonal, and communication skills with a proven ability to build positive relationships with multiple stakeholders, including employees at all levels of the organization.
- Leadership without authority.
- Credibility and recognition of ethical behaviors.
- Fluency in German and English, French and/or Italian would be beneficial.
