Lilly is looking for a Global Meetings and Congresses Specialist to join their team in Geneva, Switzerland. As a key member of the Global Business Solutions team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality meetings and events experiences for Lilly's customers and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meetings and events management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement meeting programs, ensuring compliance with Lilly's global standards and policies.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Complying with Global Standards on meetings and events interactions with external parties and all other relevant Lilly policies and procedures.
  • Understanding meeting programs and needs of meeting owners and TL relationship owners, and consulting by providing project management expertise and direction to ensure fulfillment of meeting expectations.
  • Supporting the meeting program through different systems and tools focused on meeting planning & contracting process.
  • Establishing and maintaining internal strategic partnerships with compliance, finance, procurement, and other functions that can facilitate cross-functional work.
  • Effectively leading, collaborating, and managing multiple relationships with external partners to positively impact customer experience.
  • Oversight operations across different teams with a project management approach focused on end customer experience.
  • Ensuring any local compliance or legal requirement connected with meetings is integrated in the process.
  • Sharing best practices across Business Units to enhance team performance continuously.
  • Acting as the local advisor and expert on all matters related to meetings and conferences.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent relevant working experience, and fluent German, French and English verbal and written communication skills. Additionally, they will have knowledge and expertise using systems, applications or devices as MS Office 365, SAP, others, and a minimum of 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience or meetings and events background.
