Job Summary

We are looking for a Customer Meeting Services Associate to join our Global Meetings and Congresses team. This role will be responsible for providing end-to-end support for meetings and events, including strategic project management, consultancy, logistics planning, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comply with global standards and policies related to meetings and events, ensuring audit readiness and compliance.
  • Understand meeting programs and needs of meeting owners, providing project management expertise and direction to ensure fulfillment of meeting expectations.
  • Support the meeting program through various systems and tools, focusing on meeting planning and contracting processes.
  • Establish and maintain internal strategic partnerships with compliance, finance, procurement, and other functions to facilitate cross-functional work.
  • Effectively lead, collaborate, and manage multiple relationships with external partners to positively impact customer experience.
  • Oversight operations across different teams with a project management approach focused on end-customer experience.
  • Ensure local compliance or legal requirements connected with meetings are integrated into the process.
  • Share best practices across business units to enhance team performance continuously.
  • Act as the local advisor and expert on all matters related to meetings and conferences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent relevant working experience.
  • Fluent German, French, and English language skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge and expertise using systems, applications, or devices such as MS Office 365 and SAP.
  • Minimum of 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience or meetings and events background.

  • Business and/or technical knowledge developed through education or experience, with the ability to improve processes, products, and services.
  • Ability to create impact at different levels, including immediate peers and across teams.
  • May lead small to medium projects with small to moderate risk, requiring effective and agile communication skills.
  • Requires analysis of possible solutions to solve and anticipate a range of day-to-day problems, including standard and non-standard requests.
  • High learning ability and flexibility to adapt to a fast-changing environment and support organizational change with a strong customer and people orientation.
  • Ability to work in a cross-country environment, highly diverse, and influence decisions at regional/global level that can have an impact on standardization and optimization.
  • Ability to deliver program education to meeting owners on policies, systems, planning, and other meeting-related aspects.
  • Ability to be hands-on and highly operational when needed, executing high-quality projects on time and within budget.

  • Based in Geneva, Switzerland - Eli Lilly (Suisse) SA.
  • Travel 5-10%.
  • Reporting to the Associate Director-ASG HUB Lilly Meetings & Congresses.
