About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our IT Services Organization at AWS EMEA SARL (Switzerland Branch). As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting internal employees with their technical needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for internal employees, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Work with internal ticketing tools to communicate with customers and manage their technical requests.
  • Prepare hardware for new hires and manage IT asset inventory.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless technical support and services.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting operating systems (Windows, Macintosh, or Linux)
  • Experience supporting through various channels (on-premise)
  • Proficiency supporting office productivity applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Experience using a ticket system for customer service requests
  • Experience with PC imaging and hardware troubleshooting (Client/Server, Network equipment)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of basic network troubleshooting
  • Understanding of basic concepts of Information Systems security
  • Experience providing IT support in a medium to large-sized company
  • A demonstrated willingness to learn and apply new technology
  • Ability to identify and proactively resolve or escalate issues
