Sales and Therapy Specialist for Heart Valves

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Therapy Specialist to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing business with existing and new customers in line with our Business Unit Manager's guidelines in the defined sales territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze the marketplace and develop an effective territory/account sales strategy
  • Present the strategy to management for approval and implementation
  • Perform all activities to maximize sales from product introduction and presentation to contract negotiation
  • Identify and address key decision makers and key opinion leaders in all accounts and report on them via our systems and personally to the district manager
  • Further increase penetration in existing accounts, develop existing accounts into potential new product therapies/patient therapies, and develop actual non-buying accounts
  • Build strong and lasting business relationships with key opinion leaders and key decision makers influential in the purchasing process
  • Attend and participate in key professional congresses and events as required
  • Provide technical support in the OR according to territory guidelines
  • Ensure that consignment and all other stock levels are properly controlled, according to our asset management guidelines and targets
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering, Life-science, Marketing, Business Administration, or Biology, or another relevant advanced degree
  • Experience in sales within the healthcare industry or high-value complex solution sectors
  • Fluent in French, German, and English spoken and written
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Traveling up to 75% - 85%
