Luminary Group, a leading life science company, is seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Epidemiology to join their esteemed team. As the Head of Epidemiology, you will provide strategic leadership in designing, implementing, and evaluating epidemiological studies to generate valuable insights from real-world evidence (RWE) data.
This critical role involves leading a team of epidemiologists and research scientists, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations. You will develop and implement epidemiological research strategies to address key scientific questions using RWE data.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in epidemiology, public health, or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience in epidemiology, focusing on RWE and the healthcare industry. A proven track record of leading epidemiological teams, expertise in epidemiological study design, data analysis, and interpretation, as well as strong knowledge of statistical methods used in epidemiology, are essential.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate epidemiology findings into broader evidence generation and decision-making processes. Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in epidemiology, RWE, and healthcare data is crucial for this position.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of epidemiologists and research scientists.
