This state-of-the-art venue offers over 2800 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, capable of accommodating up to 1500 guests.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Events Sales Director to lead our event sales team of 7 colleagues in our diverse environment. As a key member of our Commercial Team, you will be responsible for driving top-line revenue growth and achieving business objectives.
- Lead and develop the Event Sales Team to drive revenue growth and achieve budget targets.
- Oversee team performance, handle recruitment, and lead colleague training and development.
- Lead the team to actively convert existing meeting and group enquiries, acquire new potential business, and proactively sell our offers.
- Collaborate closely with our Sales Team and Hyatt Sales Force to increase booking pipeline.
- Manage inquiries, distribute tasks within the team, and ensure timely offers and client proposals.
- Support clients before, during, and after events with a customer-orientated approach.
- Ensure smooth and effective communication with our clients.
- Maintain high guest satisfaction while ensuring effective and efficient sales operations.
- Promote a high conversion rate.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.
To succeed in this role, you must be fluent in English, with German fluency also desirable. Ideally, you have minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the hospitality industry with a focus on selling large event spaces. Strong leadership and sales skills are essential, with a focus on time management, effective teamwork, and driving results.
