Job Summary
The ETRM Application Support Analyst will provide critical support to Vitol's worldwide users, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations of our CTRM system. This role requires a strong understanding of business applications, technical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide in-house CTRM support to worldwide users, escalating issues to the development team as needed and ensuring follow-up on resolutions.
- Understand and challenge CTRM enhancement requests from users, collaborating with the development team to implement changes.
- Train new and existing users on CTRM and other in-house applications, ensuring a high level of user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with DBA, network, infrastructure, and development teams to resolve business application issues, including job monitoring, interfaces, and servers.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in IT software applications, specifically in the commodities trading business, with involvement in business applications change management and day-to-day operation and support.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in an IT-related field (preferred).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, including SQL, Oracle DB, and basic programming, as well as a deep understanding of user needs and business processes.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft products.
