About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Vontobel Holding AG. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing our data architecture around behavioral data, particularly web tracking data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop the data architecture around behavioral data, including web tracking data
  • Implement processes for data enrichment, data integration, and data quality
  • Maintain and enhance the Customer Data Platform (CDP)
  • Operate and develop related services for behavioral data, including Tealium IQ, Tealium EventStream, and Tealium AudienceStream
  • Integrate tracking frameworks into various applications
  • Define and specify a Vontobel-wide event taxonomy
  • Optimize and automate lead generation processes in close coordination with the Vontobel marketing teams
Requirements
  • Degree in Data Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Strong programming skills in SQL and experience with dbt
  • Strong data analytics skills
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure and Snowflake
  • Experience with JavaScript, Python
  • Experience with Enterprise Customer Data Platforms like Tealium, Segment, Salesforce CDP (Data Cloud for Marketing) is a plus
  • Experience in data visualization (e.g. Tableau) is a plus
  • Advanced understanding of digital marketing and lead generation processes is a plus
  • Proficiency in written and spoken German and English
  • Strong team player with a high motivation to develop products with high business value
