**Data Engineer Position**

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Source Group International in Zurich, within the technology sector.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and analysis.
  • Develop and enhance ETL processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
  • Implement data modeling and database design for both relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Monitor and resolve issues with data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.

**Requirements:**

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL.
  • Solid programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and their data services.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing solutions.
