Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at IntercityHotel Geneva. In this key role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers while actively acquiring new clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Care for and develop existing customers while actively acquiring new clients
- Plan and execute sales-promoting measures, including sales trips and telemarketing campaigns, with a focus on measuring success
- Represent the hotel at local fairs and events, as well as during product presentations and client occasions
- Participate in sales analyses, identify market opportunities, and create actionable plans
- Conduct pricing and contract negotiations with event, congress, and incentive agencies to secure group and event contracts, as well as strategic framework agreements
Requirements:
- Completed vocational training in hospitality or a comparable degree with relevant professional experience in B2B sales
- Comprehensive understanding of the challenges and needs of the hotel industry, particularly in the business travel market
- Strong customer orientation and high initiative to implement own ideas
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with exceptional communication abilities
- Proficient in German and English; additional language skills are an advantage
