Your RoleAs a Trading System Engineer at Jobcloud, you will be part of a dynamic team that develops and implements cutting-edge solutions for our group-wide execution trading system. This role involves project management, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and frequent travel between locations.
Your Responsibilities- Design and implement IT processes and workflows within our order routing and trading system, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Develop, configure, and test new functionalities to meet business requirements and drive innovation.
- Analyze and support business needs, providing expert technical guidance and solutions.
- Create comprehensive documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and process clarity.
- Hold a degree in IT or a related field from a reputable institution.
- Have at least 3 years of experience in an IT trading environment, with a strong understanding of trading systems and protocols.
- Possess basic knowledge of trading markets (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX) and experience with FIX Protocol, TLS, and encryption.
- Familiarity with FIS Front Arena execution trading system and/or Avaloq is an advantage.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in German being a plus.
