About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to join our FIS Securities Finance Trading & Collateral team in Zürich. As a key member of our cross-functional Scrum team, you will contribute to the implementation of our future architectural and functional roadmap, driving innovation and growth in the global Securities Finance & Collateral industry.

About the Team

FIS Securities Finance Trading & Collateral is a market leader in delivering technology and services to the global Securities Finance & Collateral industry. Our solution suite supports the entire value chain and processes of the Securities Finance and Collateral market, serving over 200 clients worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop product enhancements using best-in-class enterprise technologies.
  • Implement future architectural enhancements of the platform.
  • Develop the platform to meet performance and scalability expectations.
  • Collaborate with Senior Architects to drive key initiatives.
Requirements
  • At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in the Java enterprise environment.
  • Experience building enterprise financial solutions.
  • Experience with blockchains (ideally in Securities Lending).
  • Experience with Agile and test-driven development.
  • Experience working in a distributed global environment.
  • Experience integrating with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Middleware.
  • Good understanding of web frontend technologies.
  • Competence in REST-APIs.
  • Very good expertise in software design patterns and enterprise architectural concepts.
  • Adapting and integrating open-source frameworks and technologies.
  • Good understanding of SQL.
  • Experience working with Kubernetes/OpenShift.
  • Very strong communication skills and fluent in English.
  • Team player, willingness to take responsibility.
