Your Role

As a Trading System Engineer at our bank, you will be part of a team that develops enhancements and new solutions for our group-wide used execution trading system. This role involves project management work and frequent travel between Basel and Zürich.

Your Responsibilities
  • Define IT processes and workflows within our order routing and trading system, including Front Arena AMS/OMNI and Avaloq.
  • Implement, configure, and test new functionalities.
  • Analyze and support business-level requirements.
  • Write documentation for the system.
Your Profile
  • You hold a higher education degree in IT or natural sciences.
  • You have 3 years of practical experience in an IT trading environment.
  • You have basic knowledge in the area of trading, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and foreign exchange, as well as experience with FIX Protocol, TLS, and encryption.
  • Knowledge of FIS Front Arena execution trading system and/or Avaloq is an advantage.
  • You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You are able to work with various stakeholders.
  • You have the capability to work independently and have an on-site mentality.
  • You are able to work under pressure.
  • You have fluency in English, and fluency in German is a plus.
