At CBRE GWS GmbH, we are seeking a skilled Operations Management Director to lead our Facility Management organization in the Life Science sector.
We provide integrated facility management services on all continents with more than 60,000 employees. In Switzerland, our GWS division offers technical, infrastructural, and commercial facility management services for clients from various industries.
The successful candidate will manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
This role requires collaboration with clients to prepare all elements of the project, including the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
You will define project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
A key responsibility is implementing project documentation governance that aligns with company and client requirements.
You must ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
This position involves directing the project delivery team by providing guidance and direction to achieve goals.
You will create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. Track the progress of each project and report status and variances.
You are expected to demonstrate ability to identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
This role requires applying in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
You will coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
Your leadership style should embody CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
This position has a significant impact on customer, operational, project, or service activities within your team and other related teams.
Key responsibilities include working within broad guidelines and policies.
You are expected to explain difficult or sensitive information effectively.
To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
You are expected to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
Your willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions is essential.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required.
You will possess organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
Sophisticated math skills are necessary to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

The estimated salary for this position is approximately CHF 120,000 - 180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
