Operations Associate, Zurich

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Associate to join our Zurich team. As an Operations Associate, you will play a critical role in enhancing our fleet, coordinating our teams in the warehouse and in the field, and providing local support to our riders.
Key Responsibilities- Hire, Train, and Develop Team Members: Lead the recruitment, training, and development of Mechanics and Fleet Support positions responsible for deploying and retrieving our shared electric vehicles.
- Warehouse Operations: Establish and maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse environment that supplies a fully operational fleet of vehicles for Zurich.
- Process Improvement: Define new processes and best practices to drive operational excellence within the warehouse.
- Project Collaboration: Partner cross-functionally on operations projects to identify expansion opportunities within your region(s).
- Performance Monitoring: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the profitability, revenue, and operational performance of your market(s).
- Customer Support: Provide complaint management and customer incident investigation support.
- Regulatory Compliance: Partner with the local Government Relations representative to manage key legal, regulatory, and safety issues.
- Relationship Management: Maintain positive relationships between customers, regulators/city officials, employees, and Lime management.
- Business Growth: Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to drive local initiatives for revenue growth.
- Professional Experience: 1-3 years of professional work experience, ideally 1+ year of experience within an Operations or Logistics position.
- Leadership Experience: Experience leading teams or groups preferred.
- Regional Expertise: Demonstrated expertise with the Zurich region and ability to anticipate operational needs and/or challenges within this area.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Grit and an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work in a warehouse environment.
- Decision-Making: High-energy and sound decision maker with the ability to make data-based decisions with a cost-focused mindset.
- Language Skills: Fluent verbal and written English & Swiss German language skills. French language skills would be a bonus.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Excel and Google Sheets (Tableau & SQL knowledge would be a bonus) with the ability to navigate and draw inference from data.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Driving License: Clean driving license.
