Associate Principal Scientist

The site in is growing, and our analytical development team for mammalian products is seeking an Associate Principal Scientist with significant work experience in physical-chemical methods such as HPLC, LC-MS, and iciEF. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about analytics and wants to be part of a group that enables customers to meet some of the greatest challenges in patient treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the subject matter expert for dedicated methods, including reviewing and interpreting data, leading investigations, and troubleshooting in the laboratory.
- Coordinate and execute method validation, development, and validation.
- Identify and implement innovations in the area of expertise and pursue continuous improvement projects.
- Support lab work by hands-on-work.
- Be the single point of contact for customer queries regarding AD topics.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in biochemistry, biotechnology, or a comparable subject area.
- Several years of relevant professional experience in method validation, development, and transfer.
- Experience in protein analysis and physical-chemical methods (HPLC, LC-MS, iciEF, etc.).
- Ideal experience with IT/OT systems for analytical laboratories, such as electronic lab notebooks, Empower, etc.
- Strong leadership skills and confident communication in English. German is a plus.
