Associate Principal Scientist, Microbial Development Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Principal Scientist to join our team in Visp, Switzerland. As a key member of our Microbial Upstream Development team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing microbial fermentation and primary recovery processes for the production of biopharmaceuticals.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and execute experiments to develop and optimize microbial fermentation and primary recovery processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery
- Develop and maintain technical expertise in fermentation and recovery process development
- Contribute to the development of new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and productivity
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
- PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong background in fermentation and recovery process development
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English and German
