**The Opportunity**
We are seeking an experienced Associate Principal Scientist to join our analytical development team for mammalian products. This role will focus on physical-chemical methods such as HPLC, LC-MS, and IEF, and will be responsible for method validation, development, and transfer.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Subject Matter Expert (SME)**: Provide in-depth knowledge and expertise in dedicated methods, including review and interpretation of data, leading investigations, and troubleshooting in the laboratory.
- **Method Validation and Development**: Coordinate and execute method validation, development, and transfer, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- **Innovation and Continuous Improvement**: Identify and implement innovations in the area of expertise, pursuing continuous improvement projects to enhance analytical capabilities.
- **Lab Support**: Provide hands-on support for laboratory work, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- **Customer Support**: Serve as a single point of contact for customer queries regarding analytical development topics.
**Requirements:**
- **Education**: Bachelor's or Master's degree in biochemistry, biotechnology, or a comparable subject area.
- **Experience**: Several years of relevant professional experience in method validation, development, and transfer.
- **Analytical Expertise**: Experience in protein analysis and physical-chemical methods (HPLC, LC-MS, IEF, etc.).
- **IT/OT Systems**: Familiarity with IT/OT systems for analytical laboratories, such as electronic lab notebooks and Empower.
- **Leadership and Communication**: Strong leadership skills and confident communication in English. German is a plus.
