Scientific Research Associate

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scientific Research Associate to join our team at Lonza. As a key member of our life sciences laboratory, you will be responsible for executing experimental lab work according to defined expectations and schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and collect high-quality data, collaborating with individual scientists and lab technicians.
- Contribute to the maintenance and qualification of lab equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
- Actively participate in the establishment of working instructions for lab equipment and ensure the appropriate maintenance of the workplace.
- Order raw materials and consumables as per project needs, sharing and implementing best practices for lab and equipment management.
Requirements:
- English mandatory, German a plus.
- Accomplished apprenticeship in bio tech.
- Facilitate improvements to departmental business processes.
- Demonstrate flexibility to support other activities within the department.
- Proactive approach to own continuous professional development.
