As Associate Director, Infrastructure and Utilities (M/F/d) you will manage the manufacturing units in the area of Black
- & Clean-Utilities, HVAC, buildings, liquid waste management and the emergency organization for the assigned assets. You will be responsible for all aspects regarding operations, troubleshooting and maintenance of the assigned areas and systems. Furthermore you will be responsible for personnel management of the assigned team including personnel development, as well as accountable for the performance and results of the assigned area and assets including cost control.

Key responsibilities:

- Responsible for the availability, reliability, and safety of assigned assets to meet the production requirements
- Develop and adhere to general procedures, plant concepts and plant standards
- Responsible for the creation, maintenance, and implementation of Pest Control, house rules and alarm organization
- As owner of the common areas and infrastructure systems in and around the production building strongly interacts with construction management teams and supervises the construction - operations - segregation as well as tie ins into existing systems
- Leading the Area Managers for Utilities Operations and Facility Management as well as staff resource planning, work allocation, training and development of team members

Key requirements:

- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Operations, Biotechnology or Engineering, or technical apprenticeship in an CDMO environment with profound experience in the below fields
- Significant experience in GMP activities in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical plants
- Significant experience in managing personnel
- A yellow belt or higher in Lean Six Sigma would be an advantage, but not mandatory
- Experience handling stakeholder of various fields and communicating with the upper management
- Advanced written and oral communication skills in German and English
