As a Development and Testing Professional, you will work closely with experienced engineers on the development and testing of implantable medical devices and neurotechnology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development of prototypes for implantable medical devices and electrodes.
Participate in the testing and validation of materials and electrode prototypes, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Contribute to research efforts, assisting with feasibility studies and integrating new technological advancements into the projects.
Requirements
Education: Currently pursuing a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, Microtechnology, or a related field.
Required Skills:
Problem Solving: Strong enthusiasm for learning, with a creative approach to solving technical challenges under guidance.
Teamwork and Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English, with French or German as a plus.
Additional Experience:
- Prior experience in laboratory and/or cleanroom environments as a part of an internship or coursework.
- Familiarity with thin-film technologies.
- Experience in neurotechnology.
- Hands-on experience with basic optical and electrical characterization.
This is an in-person, on-site role based in Geneva, Switzerland, focused on practical and laboratory work. Ideally, candidates should have a B or C permit, or Swiss citizenship for this position.
