Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Pro Informatik AG. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in the redesign and implementation of market making, trade position management, life cycle management, risk management, and trade booking systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Analysis and Project Management: Lead the analysis and documentation of existing processes and workflows, and propose necessary changes in the context of IT architectural changes.
  • Requirements Gathering: Work closely with product owners, management, and business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for new features and user stories.
  • Feature Development: Break down features and business stories into technical stories and tasks, and specify them together with technical stakeholders.
  • Interface Analysis and Specifications: Collaborate with IT stakeholders to analyze and specify interfaces.
  • Project Execution and Tracking: Plan and support the execution of stories and tasks, and track their progress.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Test, control, and document the implementation of stories and tasks, and align results with stakeholders.
  • Change Management: Drive change management efforts, including changing setups and user interfaces.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as an interface to various stakeholders, including product management, product owners, IT, IT architects, traders, sales, treasury, mid/back office, and risk management.
Requirements
  • Experience: Several years of experience as a business analyst, process manager, or project manager in financial trading/market making.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of several trading asset classes.
  • System Implementation: Experience in redesigning, implementing, and integrating trading, position, risk, and market making systems on a trading floor.
  • Sales Applications: Experience with sales applications.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English.

  • Financial Trading Experience: Experience as a financial trader or having worked closely with traders on a trading floor.
  • Cross-Asset Experience: Cross-asset experience.
  • IT Knowledge: Good understanding of IT.
  • Language Skills: German language skills.
