Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Trading Specialist to join our team at Pro Informatik AG. As a key member of our trading team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quantitative models and algorithms to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex quantitative models and algorithms for trading, including order execution, market making, and alpha generation.
  • Design and implement software applications, user interfaces, APIs, dashboards, and automated reports to support business users.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, developers, and traders to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes.
  • Assist with business development initiatives, including writing data analytics mandates, preparing reports, and delivering business presentations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest quantitative finance literature and apply knowledge to drive business decisions.
  • Document developed libraries and technical reports to ensure knowledge sharing and reuse.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience as a quantitative developer/analyst in the financial industry.
  • Experience in quantitative trading, including developing systematic strategies.
  • Advanced coding skills in Python, R, Matlab, and Scala.
  • Knowledge of mathematical finance, financial markets, and machine learning methodologies.
  • Fluent in English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with real-time analytics, low-latency algorithms, webapp development, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with business development and Agile framework, including Jira.
